Privacy Policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
This policy explains what Burn The Plan collects, what we do with it and what you can ask us to do about it.
Burn The Plan™ is published by The WELLthy Woman, LLC, a Texas LLC. You can reach us at [email protected].
This policy covers every place on burntheplan.co where we collect information from you today, which means Light the Match, the six Burn the W-2 tools, the Burn the Map waitlist, the Ask Spark coach and the website itself. Burn the Map, the relocation tool, isn't open yet. We'll update this policy before it opens.
1. What we collect
Your email address, when you enter it to use a free tool (Light the Match), when you buy anything from Burn The Plan, or when you join the Burn the Map waitlist. For the waitlist, we collect your email address only.
What you enter into a tool. For Light the Match and our other tools, it's the business and planning details each tool asks for. Those details are sent to our servers so the tool can write your results.
What you type into Ask Spark, the coach on our homepage. That's whatever you choose to type in the box, such as your job, your income or where you'd like to live. Spark doesn't ask for anything else. Section 5 explains where that text goes.
Standard site data. Our host keeps technical logs, and the site runs three analytics and advertising tools. Section 6 names them and the cookies they set.
2. Why we collect it
We use it to give you access to the tool and show you your results. That happens whether or not you sign up for marketing emails.
We send you marketing emails only if you separately say yes. Using a free tool does not sign you up for marketing on its own.
3. Marketing emails are your choice
The box to receive marketing emails from Burn The Plan is optional, and it's separate from using any tool or seeing your results. You can use Light the Match or any other Burn The Plan tool without ticking it.
The Burn the Map waitlist works differently, because it's a signup of its own. Joining it is how you say yes to the emails it describes (section 4), and it has nothing to do with the box on our tools.
Whichever way you signed up, you can unsubscribe any time, and every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
4. The Burn the Map waitlist
You give us your email address so we can tell you when Burn the Map opens. On the form, our promise reads "We'll only email you about Burn the Map (the day it opens, plus a few updates before then), and you can unsubscribe anytime." That's exactly what you'll get.
Submitting the form is your yes to those emails. There's no separate confirmation step.
Your email address goes to Kit, the email service that sends these emails for us. We keep it until you unsubscribe or until we delete the waitlist.
If you unsubscribed before and then join the waitlist again, joining again means you're asking to hear from us again, and you'll start getting the waitlist emails again.
If you didn't sign up, or someone else used your address, email [email protected] and we'll remove it.
To limit abuse of the form, we count how often one visitor submits it, using a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. That hash is stored with our host, Cloudflare, for 2 hours and then deleted automatically.
5. Ask Spark
What you type into Ask Spark goes from our server to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI model, which writes the reply. The reply comes straight back to you.
We don't keep what you type. Our server passes the text to Anthropic and the reply back to you, and it doesn't save or log either one.
Anthropic handles what it receives under its own terms and privacy policy, which we don't control.
To limit abuse, we count how often one visitor uses Spark, using a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. That hash is stored with Cloudflare for 20 minutes and then deleted automatically. We also keep one daily count of total Spark uses across everyone, which isn't tied to any person and is deleted after 2 days.
Please don't type names, ID or passport numbers, health details or anything else you wouldn't want an AI service to see. What you type about your work, your income and where you'd like to live can still say a lot about you.
Spark gives general ideas for thinking about your next move. It isn't legal, tax, immigration or financial advice.
6. Hosting, analytics and cookies
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts burntheplan.co and handles every visit for security and speed. Like most hosts, it keeps technical logs, such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you request.
Analytics and advertising
The site runs three tools that set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
- The Meta pixel, from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), which tells us when someone who saw our ads visits the site, so we can measure those ads and show them to people likely to care. It sets cookies such as
_fbp. - A Google tag (Google Analytics), which shows us how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies such as
_ga. - Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how people use our pages, including where they click and scroll, through heatmaps and recordings of visits. It sets cookies such as
_clckand_clsk.
Each of these companies handles what it collects under its own privacy policy (Meta, Google and Microsoft).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works if you do. You can also turn off ad personalization in your Meta and Google account settings.
7. Your rights, and how to use them
Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal data we have about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing.
Email [email protected] and we'll respond and handle your request. For a deletion, we remove your email (including from the waitlist) and your tool inputs from our systems. We may keep a minimal record where accounting or legal rules require it. We don't hold anything you typed into Ask Spark, so there's nothing of it for us to delete.
8. California residents (CCPA)
If you live in California, you can ask us what personal information we've collected about you, ask us to delete it, and opt out of any sale or sharing of it. Burn The Plan does not sell your personal information. To make a request under the CCPA, email [email protected].
9. Visitors from outside the US
Burn The Plan is offered by The WELLthy Woman, LLC, a Texas company, and people visit from outside the US, including the EU, the UK, Brazil, Canada and Australia.
The services we use (Cloudflare, Kit, Anthropic, Meta, Google and Microsoft) process data in the US and other countries. So if you visit from outside the US, your information is handled outside your country.
We rely on two legal bases. To give you access to a tool and your results, it's that you asked us to. For marketing emails and the waitlist, it's your consent, which you can withdraw any time.
Under GDPR (EU and UK) and LGPD (Brazil), you can access, correct and delete your data, object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. These are the same rights described in section 7, and we give them to every visitor, wherever you're writing from.
For any privacy request or question, email [email protected].
10. How this relates to The WELLthy Woman's privacy policy
The WELLthy Woman, LLC also publishes a Privacy Policy at wellthywoman.co/privacy-policy, which covers the main business and uses [email protected] as its contact. This policy comes from the same company and is published as its own page for Burn The Plan. For anything on burntheplan.co, this page is the one that applies.
